Phillip Summers

Phil Summers bought a 70 year old home in Lafayette Park in 1989, because he loves the atmosphere and accessibility of this Midtown neighborhood. He soon learned first-hand the joys (and challenges) of renovation. He now has redone several Midtown homes. Presently, he has completed Midtown Design Center Building and lives on the top floor in the Penthouse. A new concept in urban living right here in Tallahassee.

Using his knowledge and expertise of 25+ years in real estate, he also helps many others discover these same joys. In fact, not only does he live in the area, but over the years he has had his business located there as well.

Phil’s commitment to working hard at being successful, his need to keep moving, his love of a challenge, his unique ability to make things happen, and his laid back, friendly nature-all make him a natural Realtor. Alex Szaro

Alex has been a Tallahassee resident since moving here from Miami, FL in the spring of 1995. After attending Florida State University, he decided to make Tallahassee his permanent home. He has been selling real estate in the Tallahassee area for more than seven years. Alex also serves as one of Tallahassee’s first EcoBrokers®. Alex serves on the Young Executive Committee at the prestigious University Center Club (UCC) atop Doak Campbell Stadium. Also Alex serves his community by being a member of the Tallahassee Sunset Rotary Club where he will serve as president during the 2010-2011 year. Valerie Mackenzie-Sherlock

I have been a Florida licensed realtor with Summers Realty since 2003. Also licensed in Georgia since I live in Leon County near the Georgia border. I enjoy raising rescued Afghan Hounds and other animals out in this beautiful countryside.

I have a Master Degree in Counseling Education and a diverse background of service jobs which includes vocational counseling, rehab and Computer Support to the personnel who do the state budget.

My philosophy is not to “sell” anything. I listen to the buyer and provide access to the homes the buyer prefers to see. I am available with information and assistance through the purchase process but do not try to “sell” a home. The buyer is respected to know best what he or she wants. The seller is best assisted by providing accurate market and listing information. I am thorough in staying on top of the real estate process with my customer. It is enjoyable to be part of one of the most important economic decisions a family can make and watch everything come together.

Bruce Congleton

I am working part-time for Summers Realty while still employed as a state worker and hoping to actually "retire" and devote most of my time to real estate.
